When you are ready to start using Housecall Pro with QuickBooks Online, you will need to connect the two. Follow the steps below to connect to QuickBooks Online from Housecall Pro.
CLICK TO CONNECT YOUR QUICKBOOKS ONLINE NOW
1. Click the 'My Apps' icon in your navigation bar
2. Click 'Get More Apps'
3. Scroll down to 'Productivity' and click 'Quickbooks Online.'
4. Click the 'Connect To QuickBooks' button
Once you select 'Connect To QuickBooks,' you will be presented with the option to either create a new Quickbooks Online account (1), or connect to your existing account (2):
Option 1: Create a new Quickbooks Online Account
If you want to start fresh, or simply have not used Quickbooks Online previously, you can create a new account by clicking the 'Sign up for Quickbooks' button above. You will be taken to a new web page where you will need to scroll down to select your plan. When you create an account through this process you are eligible to receive a lifetime discount for the Quickbooks subscription. You will need to select either Essential or Plus. Housecall Pro is not compatible with Simple Start, Advanced, or Self-Employed. Once the Free Trial has expired you will be required to add a credit card.
Option 2: Connect to Quickbooks with and existing account
You can connect to your existing Quickbooks Online account by clicking the 'Connect to Quickbooks' button above. You will be directed to a log in screen for Quickbooks Online. Enter your user name and password and sign in.
After you complete the steps, you can verify if you're connected on the Quickbooks Integration page. You will now see the dot next to Quickbooks is green. Success!!
