Storing your price list of both products and services will make Housecall Pro as efficient and helpful as possible when you're creating invoices and estimates.
You can send your price list to us in an Excel or .CSV file for us to format and upload for you by emailing it to email@example.com. This typically has a 2-business day turn around.
Otherwise, you can upload the file on your own.
Navigate to your dashboard and click on the user icon in the upper right corner, then click Account Settings. Next, click on My Price List.
Click the green '+ Add' button in the top right and a drop down menu will appear. Select the third option 'Upload from .CSV.'
A window will appear with four steps to ensure your list is uploaded correctly. The first is to select the industry you are in. An industry must be selected before the list can be uploaded!
The second step is to download the template. Your price list must follow the template provided, so we suggest copying and pasting your items under the headings directly into the template.
Once your file is formatted and complete, save the spreadsheet to your computer as a .CSV file. You can then click the 'Upload file' button, select the correct document and click the 'open' button in the bottom right of the window.
The 'submit' button in the bottom right will then turn blue. Click 'submit' and the file will be imported into your price list.
