Housecall Pro Bill Pay is retiring on December 31, 2026. After this date, you will no longer be able to make bill payments through Housecall Pro.
We’re providing a three-month read-only period after Bill Pay retires so you have additional time to retrieve your records and complete your migration to another bill payment provider.
Important dates
December 31, 2026: Bill Pay retires and becomes read-only. You will no longer be able to make or manage bill payments through Housecall Pro.
January 1–March 31, 2027: You will continue to have read-only access to Bill Pay so you can review and export your bill payment history and retrieve information you need for your records.
After March 31, 2027: Bill Pay will no longer be available in Housecall Pro. Bill payment history, vendor information, and attachments stored in the Bill Inbox will no longer be accessible.
We recommend completing your migration before December 31 rather than relying on the read-only period.
Three things to do before Bill Pay retires
1. Export your bill payment history
Download a CSV of your Bill Pay history so you have your own copy of your payment records.
To export your bill payment history:
Navigate to Bill Pay in Housecall Pro.
From the main Bill Pay tab, apply any filters you want included in your export.
Click Export in the upper-right corner.
A CSV containing the bill payments shown in the table will be exported.
We recommend saving this file somewhere your business can continue to access after Bill Pay is removed from Housecall Pro.
2. Save your vendor payment details
Vendor bank and ACH information will not transfer automatically to a new bill payment provider. We recommend you reach out to your vendors directly for their bank and ACH information.
Before Bill Pay retires:
Open the Vendors tab in Bill Pay.
Review the vendors you currently pay through Housecall Pro.
Save the information you will need to set those vendors up with your new provider.
If you have vendors that you pay by mailed check, allow extra time to get them set up with your new provider.
For security reasons, follow your business's normal process for securely storing and transferring banking information.
3. Set up and test your new bill payment provider
Choose a new provider and set up your account before December 31.
Some options you may want to consider include:
Your business bank's bill payment tools
Housecall Pro does not automatically transfer your Bill Pay account, vendors, or payment information to another provider.
Once your new account is set up, we recommend sending one small test payment. This gives you a chance to confirm your vendor information, funding method, and payment process are working before you need to rely on the new system for regular bills.
What happens to my Bill Pay information after December 31?
From January 1 through March 31, 2027, Bill Pay will remain available in a read-only state.
During this period, you can still access information you may need as part of your migration, including:
Previous bill payment history
Vendor information
Documents and attachments stored in the Bill Inbox
You will not be able to create or send new bill payments or otherwise use Bill Pay to manage payments.
After March 31, 2027, Bill Pay will be removed from Housecall Pro’s platform entirely. Information that exists only within Bill Pay will no longer be accessible, so make sure you have saved any records, vendor details, or attachments you need before then.
What should I download or save?
Before Bill Pay is removed, we recommend making sure you have your own copy of:
Your Bill Pay transaction history
Vendor bank and ACH details needed for your new provider
Any bills, invoices, receipts, or other attachments you need from the Bill Inbox
