Navigate Price Book Sub-Tabs From One Hover
Getting to the right part of your Price Book now takes one hover, not a hunt through a flat list.
This article covers the new Price Book flyout navigation.
What you can do
Hover over the Price Book icon in the left navigation rail to see a flyout of all Price Book sub-tabs.
Click any sub-tab in the flyout to jump straight there, without landing on the Price Book page first.

The Price Book flyout on the Web
To open the flyout:
Hover over the Price Book icon in the left navigation rail.
A flyout appears labeled PRICE BOOK, listing: Services, Materials, Pricing forms, Estimate Templates, and Discounts.
Click any sub-tab to go directly to that section.
🛠️ Pro Tip: This works the same way as the Money icon's flyout menu elsewhere in Housecall Pro, so the navigation pattern is consistent across the app.
Close the flyout
Move your cursor off the icon and the flyout, click elsewhere on the page, or press Esc.
Clicking the icon itself
Clicking the Price Book icon directly (rather than a flyout item) still takes you to your current default Price Book destination — this hasn't changed.
Good To Know
The in-page sub-tab row still works: The flyout is an additional way to get around — the horizontal sub-tab row inside the Price Book page still works exactly as it did before.
The "New" badge on Discounts is gone: Since Discounts is now easy to find from the flyout, the "New" badge that used to call it out has been removed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this replace the sub-tabs inside the Price Book page?
No — it's an additional entry point. The in-page sub-tab row is unchanged.
What happened to the "New" badge on Discounts?
It's been removed now that Discounts is easy to reach from the flyout.
Why don't I see Discounts in the flyout?
If your account has Discounts turned off, it won't appear in the flyout or the in-page sub-tabs.
