How to reorder industries in your Service Price Book
To reorder industries in your Price Book, locate and click the ‘Price Book’ tab in the top navigation bar of your HouseCall Pro account. If you have a lot of features in the top navigation bar, your Price Book may be nested under the More drop-down.
Alternatively, you can access the Price Book by going to Account Settings. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your account.
Next, select ‘Price Book’ from the options on the left-hand side of the settings menu.
Please note that you must be an admin or office staff with the 'Update company account info' permission to view the Price Book feature.
To reorder industries in your Price Book, ensure that Services is selected from the left-hand menu of your Price Book, located directly beneath the Price Book heading. You will see all your industries presented here in a grid format. Click on the icon with 3 dots on any of the industries.
From the drop-down menu, select 'Reorder.'
Use your mouse to drag and drop the industry blocks to your desired positions. When you're finished, click 'Save Order' to apply the changes.
How to reorder categories in your Service Price Book
To reorder categories in your Price Book, locate and click the ‘Price Book’ tab in the top navigation bar of your HouseCall Pro account. If you have a lot of features in the top navigation bar, your Price Book may be nested under the More drop-down.
Alternatively, you can access the Price Book by going to Account Settings. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your account.
Next, select ‘Price Book’ from the options on the left-hand side of the settings menu.
Please note that you must be an admin or office staff with the 'Update company account info' permission to view the Price Book feature.
Once you have navigated to your price book, ensure that Services is selected from the left-hand menu, located directly beneath the Price Book heading. Next, click on the industry that contains the categories you want to reorder.
To reorder categories, find and click the three vertical dots icon in the lower right corner of any category.
From the drop-down menu, select 'Reorder.'
Use your mouse to drag and drop the category blocks to your desired positions. When you're finished, click 'Save Order' to apply the changes.

How to reorder materials in your Price Book

Moving Services and Materials in Your Price Book
If you need a simple and efficient way of re-organizing your price book, you can use the bulk move tool.
This allows you to do the following actions:
Move up to 100 services and/or materials to an existing location in your price book
Move up to 100 services to the 'Materials' section of your price book
Moving services to a different location, industry, and category in your Price Book
To move a service to a different category and industry in your Price Book, locate and click the ‘Price Book’ tab in the top navigation bar of your HouseCall Pro account. If you have a lot of features in the top navigation bar, your Price Book may be nested under the More drop-down.
Alternatively, you can access the Price Book by going to Account Settings. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your account.
Next, select ‘Price Book’ from the options on the left-hand side of the settings menu.

If you have multiple industries, click the industry where the service you want to move is located.
From the industry menu, select the category where the service you want to move is located.
On the Services page, find the service you want to move and click the three-dots icon to the far right.
From the drop-down menu, click 'Move Location'
Checkboxes will appear next to the services. Check the boxes next to the services you want to move. To select up to 100 services at once, click the top checkbox next to the 'Services' sub-header.
Once you’ve selected the services you wish to move, click the 'Move Services' button in the upper-right corner. The number of selected services will be displayed on this button.
A pop-up will appear. From here, you can choose the location for either Services or Materials. You will also be able to select the industry and category from a drop-down menu displaying the options you’ve created.
Please note that services can only be added to categories that contain services. Services cannot be moved to categories that contain subcategories. Only categories that are eligible to hold services will show up in the categories dropdown.
Once you’ve selected the location, industry, and category, click 'Save' to apply the changes.
Moving materials to a different category in your Price Book
To move materials to a different category in your Price Book, locate and click the ‘Price Book’ tab in the top navigation bar of your HouseCall Pro account. If you have a lot of features in the top navigation bar, your Price Book may be nested under the More drop-down.

How to copy services in your Price Book
To copy a service in your Price Book, locate and click the ‘Price Book’ tab in the top navigation bar of your HouseCall Pro account. If you have a lot of features in the top navigation bar, your Price Book may be nested under the More drop-down.

From the industry menu, select the category where the service you want to copy is located.

On the Services page, find the service and click the three-dots icon to the far right to copy it.
From the drop-down menu, select 'Copy'
A pop-up will appear. From here, select the industry and category where you’d like to copy the service using the drop-down menus displaying the options you’ve created.
Please note that services can only be added to categories that contain services. Services cannot be moved to categories that contain subcategories. Only categories that are eligible to hold services will show up in the categories dropdown.
Once you’ve selected the industry and category, click 'Save' to apply the changes.
How to copy materials in your Price Book
