QuickBooks Online Settings in Housecall Pro
Once your QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro accounts are connected, you can access your QuickBooks Online settings within your Housecall Pro account by:
Clicking on the QuickBooks icon in your HCP navigation bar.
This will direct you to your QuickBooks Online Sync alerts settings. You can also navigate to other settings options from this page.
Clicking on the gear icon in your HCP navigation bar.
This will direct you to your company Account Settings.
Scroll down in the Settings menu on the left side of your screen and click on the 'QuickBooks Online' dropdown under the "Money" section.

Sync Alerts Settings
The QuickBooks Online Sync Alerts settings page displays alerts for invoices or jobs that encountered issues while syncing to your QuickBooks Online account.
To access your QuickBooks Sync Alerts from any page in your Housecall Pro account:
Click on the QuickBooks icon in the top right corner of your screen.
If there are any alerts that need attention, they will be displayed here with the following information:
Job Number
Time the alert occurred
Type of alert
Description of the alert
Resolution for the alert

Import Settings
The Import settings page shows your import history from the day you first imported data to Housecall Pro from QuickBooks Online.
To navigate to your QuickBooks Online Import Settings:
Click on the QuickBooks icon or the gear icon in the top right corner of your Housecall Pro account.
Next, scroll down on the Settings menu on the left side of your screen and click on the QuickBooks option to expand more options if needed.
Select 'Import' from the QuickBooks settings options.
On this page, you can view the following information for each import:
Import Date
Import Status
Details ('View Errors' hyperlink)
Customers imported
Invoices imported
Price Book items imported
Tax rates imported
Business Units (Classes) imported
You can also import additional data by clicking the 'Import From QuickBooks' button in the top right corner of the page.
Please Note: It is recommended that you import additional information no more than 2 times after the initial integration.
Banking Settings
One key configuration included in this screen is the name of the bank account to which Housecall Pro credit card payments will be reconciled.
From this page, you can connect a bank account if you don't have one connected already. You can also verify the bank account that's currently connected, or update the account.
If you don't have a bank account connected to QuickBooks Online yet, click on the blue 'Connect Bank Account' button.
Please Note: Ensure that the bank account listed on your QuickBooks Online Banking settings page matches the bank account connected in the
Payout Settings section of the My Money page in your Housecall Pro
account to avoid any issues when reconciling payments.

Account Details Settings
The Account details settings page displays two sets of information:
Data summary
Connection details
If needed, you can also disconnect your QuickBooks Online account from this page.
To navigate to your QuickBooks Online Account details settings in Housecall Pro:
Click on the green QuickBooks icon or the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.
Scroll down on the Settings menu on the left side of your screen and click on 'QuickBooks Online' to expand more options if needed, then select the 'Account details' option.
Data Summary
The Data summary section shows which records have been linked between QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro, and the count of records for each account for each category:
Tax rates
Business Units (Classes)
Customers
Jobs
Price book
Connection Details
The Connection details section shows the status of your QuickBooks Online connection and also provides the following information:
Realm ID
Company Name
Legal Name
Subscription Status
Offering SKU
Item categories feature
Email
Phone number
Website
Address
Disconnect your QuickBooks Online Account from Housecall Pro

Before disconnecting your QuickBooks Online account, please
reach out to our Chat Support team via the Blue Chat Bubble
in your Housecall Pro account to avoid any errors.
To disconnect your QuickBooks Online account:
Click on the green QuickBooks icon or the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.
Scroll down on the Settings menu on the left side of your screen and click on 'QuickBooks Online' to expand more options if needed.
Select the 'Account details' option.
Click on the 'Disconnect My Account' button at the bottom of the Account details page, under the Connection details section.
Next, select the reason for disconnecting your QuickBooks Online account, then type "DISCONNECT QUICKBOOKS" in the text box to confirm.
Finally, click on the 'Disconnect' button to disconnect your QBO account.
