How to Edit Your Default Invoice Email & SMS
To edit the default email and SMS message sent with your invoices:
Navigate to your account settings via the gear icon in the top right corner and click the 'Invoices' drop-down from the Settings menu on the left.
Select 'Email and SMS' from the drop-down. If you are navigating here for the first time, you will see the Housecall Pro default-generated content.
Click 'Edit' in the appropriate section (Email preview or SMS preview), enter your desired wording, and click 'Save' to set those changes live for all future invoices.
Please note:
Your content will be live as soon as you press 'Save.' It is critical to ensure you are satisfied and have audited your content ahead of saving those changes.
The default Email & SMS message can only be modified via the Housecall Pro web portal.

Important: Carefully consider the URL links that you are adding to your content. You will want to ensure that any website links are safe to ensure your emails do not get marked as spam.
Email Content:
HTML embedding is not permitted at the moment for this content.
If your techs have the ability to invoice, they will see the last content you have saved when they are in the preview invoice flow on mobile, ahead of sending it out in the invoice email or text.
If your techs do not have the permission to 'edit invoice messages', they will not be able to modify the default content you have set up in this section.

SMS Content:
We will automatically append the invoice preview link for your customer, and this will not count against your character limit.
