The Sherwin-Williams catalog integrated with Housecall Pro makes it easy for Pros like you to find, price, and use Sherwin-Williams materials directly in your workflows.

This feature adds a dedicated Sherwin-Williams section to your Price Book, preloaded with a curated selection of commonly used paint materials, along with access to a broader Sherwin-Williams catalog.

With this integration, you can quickly browse trusted Sherwin-Williams materials, set your own pricing, and use those materials consistently across jobs and estimates - without needing to sign in to or link a Sherwin-Williams account.

Who Has Access to This Feature

You’ll see the Sherwin-Williams section in your Price Book after connecting to Sherwin-Williams through the Housecall Pro App Store. (Some accounts may be automatically connected.)

How to Access This Feature

Step 1: Set up the Sherwin-Williams Catalog integration

Navigate to the App Store by clicking the 3×3 square icon in the top-right corner of your Housecall Pro account, then select Go to App Store.

Use the search bar or scroll to find the Sherwin-Williams app card.

Click Connect in the top-right section of the app details page.

Once connected, the app status will update to Active.

Step 2: View Sherwin-Williams Materials

Go to Materials in your Price Book

Click the Sherwin-Williams category

The Sherwin-Williams category is preloaded with 100 of their most popular paints to help you get started quickly.

📌 Note: Paint colors are not stored in the Price Book. Colors are selected later when creating a job or estimate.

How It Works

After connecting to Sherwin-Williams through the App Store, you can access the Sherwin-Williams catalog in your Price Book under the Materials section.

Sherwin-Williams Product Catalog in the Price Book

A dedicated Sherwin-Williams category appears in your Price Book under Materials.

This category is separate from your other materials.

Once you click inside, it includes curated Sherwin-Williams products, plus any additional items you choose to add.

Adding Additional Sherwin-Williams Items

Within the Sherwin-Williams category, you’ll see a button that says “Add from Sherwin-Williams catalog.” Clicking this button lets you search beyond the curated list.

To add a new Sherwin-Williams item:

Search for the product within the Sherwin-Williams section. Search results are clearly distinguished between:
- Items already included in your Price Book
- Additional catalog items that have not yet been added

Items already in your Price Book are labeled Added. Additional catalog items not yet added to your Price Book display an Add material button.

Click Add material next to the item you want to add to your Price Book.

Once added:

The item appears under the Sherwin-Williams category in your Price Book
You can reuse it in future jobs and estimates

Viewing Material Details

When you open a Sherwin-Williams material, you can view all key product details.

To keep the catalog accurate and consistent:

Most Sherwin-Williams material fields are read-only.

📌 Note: If you have material markups turned on, pricing will not be editable and will be calculated for you based on those markups. If you have material markups turned off, both cost and price will be editable. You can turn material markups on/off in your Price Book settings.

Pricing fields remain editable, so you can set costs and prices that work for your business.

Using Sherwin-Williams Materials in Jobs & Estimates

Any Sherwin-Williams materials added to your Price Book are available to use during:

Job creation
Estimate creation

Only Sherwin-Williams materials that have been added to your Price Book will appear in the material selection list.

Pricing & Current Limitations

Sherwin-Williams Pro-specific pricing is not included in this version of the integration.

You are responsible for setting and maintaining your own material pricing.

Do I need a Sherwin-Williams account to use this?

No. You can use Sherwin-Williams materials without signing in to or linking a Sherwin-Williams account. Simply click Connect to the Sherwin-Williams app in the App Store - this is free.
