How to Use the Reece Integration by Housecall Pro

What is Reece, and What Are We Doing?

Reece is a leading distributor of plumbing, providing high-quality products to trade professionals. With the Reece Integration in Housecall Pro, you can seamlessly access your materials, stay updated on pricing, and streamline your workflow. This integration is designed to help you save time, improve accuracy in job costing, and ensure you always have the latest pricing information from Reece.

What the Integration Includes

The Reece Integration offers three key features:

  • Import Recent Purchases from Reece
    Automatically import your most recent purchases from Reece into Housecall Pro, allowing you to quickly add them to jobs, invoices, and estimates.

  • Receive Daily Updates on Pricing
    Stay up to date with the latest Reece pricing. Each day, your Reece catalog will be updated, ensuring you have the most accurate costs for your materials.

  • Search the Reece Catalog
    Find and add Reece materials directly from their catalog within Housecall Pro. No more manual entry—just search, select, and use the materials you need.


How to Use the Reece Integration

Step 1: Connect Your Reece Account

  • Go to My Apps in the bottom-left corner of your Housecall Pro account.

  • Use the search bar or scroll to find the Reece app card, then click it.

  • Click Connect in the top-right section of the app details page.

  • Log in with your Reece account credentials

    • Customer ID (this is created with your Reece account)

    • Billing zip code (the main zip code you use when billed from Reece)

  • Once connected, the app status will update to Connected.

📌 Note: The time of import completion is dependent on how many materials you have purchased from Reece; this can take up to five minutes.

Additionally, Flat Rate Pricing must be enabled to have Materials Markups set up. This feature will automatically calculate the cost of Reece materials to determine a price with your set markup, ensuring profitability.

Step 2: View Reece Materials added in your Price Book

  • Go to Materials in your Price Book

  • Click the Reece category

  • Your recent purchases from Reece will be automatically added to your material price book.

Search and Add Reece Materials from the Reece Catalog to your Price Book

  • Navigate to Price Book > Materials.

  • Select the Reece catalog.

  • Click Search Reece Catalog in the top right of the Materials page.

  • Enter the name, keyword, or UPC in the search.

  • Click Add material to save it for future use.

Monthly Pricing Updates

  • Housecall Pro will automatically update your material pricing each day to reflect Reece’s latest prices.

Who can use the Reece Integration?

  • This integration is available to all Housecall Pro users who have an active Reece account and who have Flat Rate Pricing enabled.

How often does pricing update?

  • Your pricing will automatically update every day, ensuring you have the latest costs from Reece.

Can I edit imported materials?

  • No, materials that are imported will be managed by Reece to ensure accuracy and receive updates. However, you can mark items as taxable in your Price Book.

Can I use the Reece Integration without a Reece account?

  • No, you must have an active Reece account to connect and import materials into Housecall Pro.

How do I disconnect from the Reece integration?

  • If you wish to disconnect from the integration, you can go to the App Store, find and select the Reece App Card, and then click Disconnect and confirm you want to disconnect. This will remove all materials linked to Reece and disconnect you from the integration.

What happens if I disconnect my Reece account?

  • If you disconnect your Reece account, you will no longer receive pricing updates, and you won’t be able to import recent purchases.

Can I use Reece materials with Flat Rate Pricing?

  • Yes, Reece materials can be added to any flat rate service.

How do I know when my pricing has been updated?

  • Pricing updates occur automatically each day, you can view in the banner in your Reece category the date of when the last update occurred.

Do imported materials include images and descriptions?

  • Reece does not include descriptions of the materials; however, they do provide some images.
