Overview
When you're creating a Job, Estimate, or Lead and type a customer's name into customer search, that name used to get lost the moment you selected + New customer. Not anymore; whatever you typed now carries straight into the new customer creation flow.
How it works:
While creating a Job, Estimate, or Lead, type a name into customer search.
Select + New customer.
The name you typed persists into the new customer form instead of disappearing; a single word fills the First Name field, and a full name splits automatically into First and Last Name.
You can still edit the name before saving.
Who it's for: Anyone creating jobs, estimates, or leads from the web — especially CSRs, dispatchers, and solo operators booking new customers in the moment.
