Lead Forms Overview

This feature is currently in Alpha / Beta.

Lead Form allows you to capture leads from your website. This simple form can be customized in Housecall Pro settings and embedded on your website.

The customers visiting your website can fill in this form, and a Lead will be created in Housecall Pro.


Set Up Your Lead Form

To set up your Lead form:

  • Go to your Account Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.

  • Select 'Lead form' from the Settings menu on the left, under "Booking."


Edit Lead Form Text

To change the text displayed in your Lead form:

  • Go to your Account Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.

  • Select 'Lead form' from the Settings menu on the left, under "Booking."

  • Expand the "Edit text" section by clicking the arrow in the top right corner.

  • Click the 'Edit' button.

  • When you edit the text, it will get updated in the live preview on the right-hand side.

  • Once you are done with the updates click 'Save.'


Add Fields to Your Lead Form

You can pick which fields will be displayed in your Lead form.

To add fields to your Lead form:

  • Go to your Account Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.

  • Select 'Lead form' from the Settings menu on the left, under "Booking."

  • Expand the "Add field" section by clicking the arrow in the top right corner.

  • Click the 'Edit' button.

  • Click the toggle to the left of the fields you would like to add:

    • Last name

    • Email

    • Address

    • Service Details

    • How did you hear about us?

    • Frequency

    • Custom question

  • Click 'Save' and you're all set! Your Lead form will then be updated.

Please Note: Currently, any fields added to your Lead form will be required. To submit the form, your customers will need to provide all the information, as no fields will be optional.


Publishing the Lead Form on Your Website

To publish the Lead form on your website:

  • Go to your Account Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.

  • Select 'Lead form' from the Settings menu on the left, under "Booking."

  • Expand the "Share lead form" section by clicking the arrow in the top right corner.

  • Copy the embed code by clicking the 'Copy code' button and paste it into the right place in the code of your website.

  • If you are not managing your website, copy the Lead form code and send it to the webmaster or the company that runs your website.


Receiving Leads with the Lead From

  • Once a customer fills in the Lead form and submits it on your website, a Lead object will be created in Housecall Pro.

  • You will receive a text notification about the new Lead. This lead will also show in the Job Inbox and Pipeline.

  • All the info provided in the form by your customer will be visible in the Lead object.
