Bulk-Update Service Costs in Price Book
Update the cost of your Price Book services across many services at once — the same way you can already bulk-adjust price — instead of editing each one by hand.
This article covers how to use the Service Cost Adjuster to update in bulk.
Status: This feature is rolling out gradually and may not be available on your account yet.
What you can do
Increase or decrease the cost of many Price Book services in one action.
Scope the adjustment to all services, or just specific categories or industries.
Round the resulting cost to the nearest dollar, if you choose.

Bulk Cost Adjustments on the Web
To adjust service costs in bulk:
Go to Settings, then Price Book Services.
Find the Service Cost Adjuster (next to the existing Service Price Adjuster)
Choose Increase or Decrease.
Enter a percentage amount.
Optionally, check Round to nearest dollar.
Under Apply To, choose All Services, or scope to specific categories or industries.
Click Save.
📌 Note: This adjusts cost only — your service prices are not affected. If you want to adjust price instead, use the existing Service Price Adjuster on the same page.
Good to Know
Cost and price are separate. This tool only changes what a service costs you — it does not touch what you charge (price). Use the Service Price Adjuster for that.
Runs in the background. Like the Price Adjuster, a bulk cost update runs as a background job — you'll get a confirmation dialog when it starts and an email when it completes.
Shows in your activity feed. Completed cost adjustments are logged the same way price adjustments are.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this change what I charge customers?
No — this only updates your service cost, not your service price. Prices are unaffected.
Can I scope the change to just one category of services?
Yes — use the Apply To tree to scope to specific categories or industries instead of all services.
How do I know when a bulk cost update is done?
You'll get a completion email, and the change is logged in your activity feed.
