How to Preview, Download, & Print Estimates
In Housecall Pro, managing estimates is simple and efficient. Whether you need to review an estimate you’ve created, download it for client sharing, or print a hard copy for documentation, the process is seamless.
This article will walk you through how to view the details of any estimate, download it as a PDF, and print it directly from your account. These easy steps ensure you can quickly provide estimates to clients and maintain accurate records for your business.

Preview an Estimate: HCP Web Portal
To preview an estimate in the HCP web portal:
Open an estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Click the Send icon (paper airplane) in the Action bar at the top.
And that's it! You'll then be directed to the Estimate preview.
Download an Estimate: HCP Web Portal
To download an estimate from the HCP web portal:
Open an estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Click the Send icon (paper airplane) in the Action bar at the top of the Estimate Details page.
Click the gray download icon (downward-facing arrow over a line) at the top of the invoice.
The file will be downloaded as a PDF to your computer.
Print an Estimate: HCP Web Portal
To print an estimate from the HCP web portal:
Open an estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Click the printer icon in the Estimate section at the top of the page.
A new tab & Print window will open.
Select your printing options in the Print window.
Click Print in the bottom right corner.
You can choose a printer to print a physical copy of the invoice or select Save as PDF to download the invoice as a PDF document.

Preview an Estimate: HCP Mobile App (iOS)
To preview an estimate in the HCP mobile app on iPhones/iPads:
Open an Estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Tap the Send icon (paper airplane) at the top of your screen.
And that's it! You'll then be directed to the Estimate preview.
Download/Print an Estimate: HCP Mobile App (iOS)
To download or print an estimate from the HCP mobile app on iPhone/iPad:
Open an estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Tap the Send icon (paper airplane) at the top of your screen.
Tap the Printer icon under the blue Next button.
To download a digital copy of the estimate to your device:
Tap the share icon at the top of the Options screen.
Select Save to Files to download the invoice as a PDF file on your iPhone or iPad.

To preview an estimate in the HCP mobile app on Android:
Open an Estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Tap the Send icon (paper airplane) at the top of your screen.
And that's it! You'll then be directed to the Estimate preview.
Download/Print an Estimate: HCP Mobile App (Android)
To download or print an estimate from the HCP mobile app on Android:
Open an estimate to view the Estimate Details page.
Tap the Send icon (paper airplane) at the top of your screen.
Tap the Printer icon under the blue Next button.
To download:
Tap the "Select printer" drop-down at the top of your screen.
Select "Save as PDF."
Tap the download PDF icon.
To print:
Tap the "Select printer" drop-down at the top of your screen.
Select a printer, the number of copies, and the paper size you'd like to print.
Tap Print.
Please Note: Your phone must be connected to a printer, and Cloud Print must be enabled. You cannot connect a cord from the phone to a printer to print your invoice. |
