Step 1: Navigate to My Apps

Step 2: Then click on GO TO APP STORE

Step 3: Scroll down to find QuickBooks Desktop and Press Learn More

Step 4: Toggle on the app from disabled to active. You will now be taken through the on screen set up guide. This will walk you step by step through connecting Housecall Pro and QuickBooks Desktop.

Step 5: Download the QWC authentication file and make note of where on your computer it is saved.

Step 7: Open Quickbooks Desktop, click "File" and then "Update Web Services". You will then see the following pop up:

Click "Add an Application"

Step 8: Upload the QWC authentication file by selecting the correct QWC file and clicking "Open"

Step 9: Give Housecall Pr permission to access your QuickBooks data. Make sure the name of the requesting application is HCPQBWebConnectorService and the name of the Security Certificate Information is housecall.io. Then press "OK."

Step 10: You will then be asked to select an answer for whether you want to allow the application to read and modify this company file. Select "Yes, prompt each time"
