There are a few options for importing your customer list into Housecall.

Option 1:

Connect and import customer info from your QuickBooks account.

  • Quickbooks Online: Watch this video to learn how to easily import your customer list, price list and job history from Quickbooks Online to Housecall Pro.

  • Quickbooks Desktop: Watch this video to learn how to connect and import your customer list, price list, and job history from Quickbooks Desktop to Housecall Pro.

Option 2:

Bulk import your customer list from an Excel or .CSV file directly into HouseCall Pro. If you're coming from another software (and don't want to/cannot transition to Quickbooks Online) this will be the option for you.

You can choose to import your list yourself or email your list in Excel or .CSV format to our import team at datahelp@housecallpro.com to have it uploaded for you.

If you choose to have our team at Housecall import your customer list, please allow 3-5 business days for it to appear in your database.

Option 3:

If you don't have an official list and your contacts are in your phone or you're a new business, that's okay! Housecall Pro is a great tool to help create and build your customer database.

Option 4:

There are two ways to add a customer to your list from your iPhone:

Import From Your iPhone's Address Book:

  • Open the Housecall Pro app on your iPhone and click the 'Customers' icon tab along the bottom

  • Click the [+] button in the upper right corner

  • Select ' Import From Address Book'

  • Select the contact(s) you'll be importing

  • Tap 'Done' once you're ready to import

  • The contact and contact information will be created as a new customer profile in your Housecall Pro customer list

  • Editing the information for the imported customer will not change the information in your iPhone's address book
