Card payments in Online Booking

Note: This feature is currently available only to an Alpha group of testers.

You can now accept payments directly within the Online Booking flow.

Settings

To enable payments in your booking flow go to the Payment options section of 'Online Booking' within Settings.

If your Housecall Pro account is not yet connected to your bank account, you will need to first complete the Connect My Bank flow.

Once your bank account is connected, you will see the options to "Require full payments" and "Require deposits".

  • Require full payments - the customers will be asked to pay the total amount of the booking upfront

  • Require deposits

    You can select the fixed amount or percentage deposits.

    If you select the "percentage" option, the customer will be asked to pay a % of the the total amount of the booking. Meanwhile, if you select the "Fixed" option - the customer will be asked to pay the fixed $ amount, regardless of the total value of the booking.

Payments in Online Booking

After the customer selects the service they want to book and picks the day and time of booking, they will see the payment step.

The customer can also save their card on file.

Notes

  • If the payment is successful, the customer will receive an email with a receipt.
