You can now accept payments directly within the Online Booking flow.

How to Enable Payments for Online Booking

To enable payments in your online booking flow:

  • Go to your Account Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of your HCP account.

  • Click 'Online Booking' in the left menu.

  • If your Housecall Pro account is not yet connected to your bank account, you will need to first complete the Connect My Bank flow.

  • Once your bank account is connected, you will see the options to "Require full payments" and "Require deposits."

  • If you toggle on "Require full payments" then your customers will be asked to pay the total amount of the booking upfront at the time of booking.

  • If you toggle on "Require deposits" then you will set the fixed amount (ex: $20 out of the $100 total cost) or percentage deposits (ex: 50% of total cost) that you want your customers to pay upfront at the time of booking.


Customer View

  • Once you update your settings, you can preview your booking flow here.

  • Customers will see the payment step to input a dollar amount or percentage (depending on your configuration) after selecting their service and date.

  • If the payment is successful, the customer will receive an email with a receipt.
