Unschedule and Undo Actions on a Job

Remove/unschedule/undo a job or estimate from your calendar without deleting it completely.

Things come up, sometimes customers need to reschedule an upcoming job but don't know what day or time works yet, or maybe you have accidentally selected a job status.

You can easily unschedule the visit or undo the job status action without deleting the entire invoice/estimate or included information. 

Unschedule a Job or Estimate (Web Portal)

Below are the steps to unschedule from the web portal.

  • Use the Customers tab or search option on the navigation bar to select and open the estimate/job details page 

  • Click 'Undo' directly above the 'Schedule' icon 

  • Click 'Unschedule Job' on the pop-up window to confirm

  • Once the job has been unscheduled, the 'Schedule' icon will become white

Unschedule a Job or Estimate (iPhone)

Unschedule a job or estimate from your calendar from your iPhone without deleting it completely.

Below are the steps to unschedule a job or estimate from your iPhone:

  • Open the estimate/job detail page

  • Scroll to the 'Schedule' section and click the pencil icon

  • Tap where it says 'Unschedule'

  • Click 'Done' to save

Locate Unscheduled Jobs and Estimates

  • To access these unscheduled jobs, go to your mobile app dashboard and click 'Needs Attention' at the top.

  • All the unscheduled jobs and estimates will say 'Schedule' in blue on the left column in the Unscheduled tab.

  • Click on the job/estimate to go to the details page and schedule.

How do I unschedule an estimate or job on my Android?

  • After clicking on the estimate, on the estimate details page click on the 'Schedule' section

  • Then click 'unschedule' (found in red font) located at the bottom of the page.

  • You'll be taken to this screen to confirm cancellation. Click 'OK' in the bottom right.

Find your Unscheduled Job/Estimate:

A) Click into the 'Schedule' tab on your navigation bar to access your calendar

  • Click into the 'Unscheduled' section of your calendar (calendar with an x)

  • To schedule, you can drag and drop the invoice box OR click on the box once to go to the job details page

  • Note: estimates will not be found in this section, you will need to locate those in your Estimates report (see C below)

B) Locate within the Customer Profile under 'Estimates' and 'Jobs'

  • Click on the 'Customers' tab on your navigation bar

  • Click on the Jobs or Estimates tab

  • You will see the Estimate status as 'Unscheduled'

  • Click on the estimate to access the estimate details page schedule

  • You will see the Job status as 'Needs scheduling'

  • Click on the job to access the job details page schedule

C) Search within Reports

  • From your Dashboard, click the SEE ALL JOB / SEE ALL ESTIMATES to access your job or estimates report

  • You can use the search bar (in the upper right corner) to search for the unscheduled job/estimate using the customer name, address, invoice number, etc.

  • You can also filter the report by 'Job Status'. Simply click on the funnel at the top of the column and select 'Unscheduled' and click 'Apply' (see video below)

  • To schedule, click on the invoice or estimate number and schedule through the details page (click on the 'Schedule' icon)

I accidentally clicked 'On My Way.' Can I undo this?

If you've accidentally clicked the 'on my way' button before it was time, you can reset the action with ease.

  • On the web portal, go to the job details page of the job that needs to be updated. Click on "UNDO" above the 'on my way' button (OMW).

  • A window will appear for you to confirm. To reset the 'on my way' button, click 'UNDO OMW' in the bottom right.

'On my way' will now be cleared for you to click again at the correct time.

I accidentally clicked 'Start Job.' Can I undo this?

If you've accidentally clicked 'start job' before it was time, you can reset the button in no time.

  • On the web portal, go to the job details page of the job that needs to be updated

  • Click the "UNDO" option above the 'start job' button.

  • A window will appear for you to confirm. To reset start job, click 'unstart job' in the bottom right.

'Start job' will now be cleared for you to click again at the correct time.

How do I "unfinish" a job?

If a job was prematurely marked as complete, you can quickly "unfinish" the job.

  • On the web portal, go to the job details page of the job you need to adjust and click on "UNDO" above the 'Finish Job' tab.

  • A window will appear for you to confirm the action. Click 'unfinish job' in the bottom right.

The 'finish job' tab will now be cleared for you to hit at the right time.
