Photos do not always capture the full story. To help you better prepare for jobs and boost your on-site communication, you can now upload videos to jobs on mobile!

Use videos to tell stories that photos simply can’t. Whether you want to show something that’s broken or making a strange noise, skip the lengthy description and share a video instead.

You can upload a video that’s under a minute long to any job. Anything longer than a minute can be trimmed with our in-app trimmer.

To start, click the "+" icon in the "Attachments" section on the job details page.

Next, click the camera icon in the top right.

Next, click "Use camera" to record a new video. You can also click "Select photos or videos" to upload a video that you have already taken from your camera library.

Next, toggle to "video" and press the shutter button to start recording. When you are done recording press the shutter button again.

Once you are done recording, click "use video" to start uploading. If you take a photo that is longer than one minute, we will prompt you to trim the video before we can upload the video.

If you are uploading a video that is longer than one minute, we will prompt you to trim the video. When prompted to trim your video, click "Manage" next to the video file.

Then click to "Trim video"

Use the trimmer to select what part of the video you want to trim. Remember that the highlighted section of the video is the section you wish to keep. Anything outside of that will be removed.

Once you are done, click "Done" in the top right corner.

Once you have uploaded a video to a job, you can share that video with your customer when you send them an invoice.

When sending an invoice, click the paperclip icon located just above the invoice preview.

Then click on "Attachments."

Select your video(s) and any other attachments you want to include and press "done" in the top left corner.

Continue to send your invoice as you normally would.

Once you have uploaded a video to a job, you can share that video with your customer when you send them an invoice or you can easily share with another person via email, text message, or other messaging app on your phone.

First, on the job details page you will want to click into the attachments section.

Next find the video you wish to share and click on it.

In the top right corner you will see the "share" icon, click on it.

You can then select how you wish to share the video.
