How to access your schedule (calendar) in the field

The Housecall Pro mobile app makes it easy to have your schedule and job information on hand at all times, whether you use an iPhone or Android.

To view your schedule open the Housecall Pro app. You'll automatically be taken to your dashboard.


Click the Schedule icon at the bottom of your screen and your schedule will appear, allowing you to see your scheduled jobs and estimates. Clicking directly into a job or estimate on the schedule will bring you to the job details page where you will see the details for that specific job, including who your customer is, service address, and notes on what needs to be done.

Note: Depending on employee permission settings, you may only be able to see scheduled jobs and estimates assigned to you.

View your company's schedule on the Housecall Pro app using an iOS device.

View your company's schedule on the iPhone mobile app with just a couple of quick steps.

  • From your mobile app dashboard, click the calendar icon titled 'Schedule' in the bottom left corner

  • Select the calendar menu icon in the upper left corner

  • You have the option to select 'List view' or 'Day view'. You can then choose to see your entire team's calendar, your calendar, or specific employee's calendars by checking the checkbox next to the employee name or the 'Team Calendars' option.

The calendar will then update to reflect those changes and only display the calendars of the employees you have selected. When it is correct, just click the same 'Menu' icon to make is disappear.

The company schedule will show the employee profiles assigned colors.

What do field techs see on their calendars?

Field techs with the permission Show techs full schedule will see all jobs assigned to them on the calendar, but not the jobs assigned to other field techs.


Schedule (calendar) views on the Housecall Pro mobile app

As an admin or office employee, you can choose which view you'd prefer to see on the app in the field. Change the calendar view to see your jobs in a way that makes the most sense for you.

What are my schedule view options on the HCP Android app?

Click the Schedule icon at the bottom of your screen. This icon is located second to the left and appears as a little calendar in gray. Once selected, the icon will turn blue and you will see your schedule on the screen.

The default view in Android is the List view, which will show the jobs assigned to you in a list format.

Clicking the filter icon in the upper right hand of the screen next to the schedule icon brings up your calendar filters.

  • The calendar can be filtered by List View, 1-Day View, or 3-Day View.

To change to a 1 Day or 3 Day view, click the stack of three lines in the top left-hand corner of the screen. A menu will open to allow you to choose between views. Simply select the view you prefer from the list and the calendar will adjust accordingly.


After you have selected one of the views, you can select or deselect the employee calendar(s) you want to see. Once selected, close the left side panel by clicking on the 'Menu' icon once again, the calendar will then update to reflect those changes and only display the calendars of the employees you have selected.

Tap to the left of the menu to return to your calendar.

What are my schedule view options on the HCP iPhone?

Click the Schedule icon at the bottom of your screen. This icon is located second to the left and appears as a little calendar in gray. Once selected, the icon will turn blue and you will see your schedule on the screen. On the iPhone app, the schedule displays a 2-week calendar overview at the top of the page, featuring all dates for the current 2-week period.

The default view is the List view, which will show the jobs assigned to you in a list format. To change to a calendar or Day view, click the stack of three lines in the top-left corner of the screen.


A menu will open to allow you to choose between views. Simply click into your preferred view and it will immediately be reflected in the schedule.


After you have selected your preferred view you can select or deselect the employee calendar(s) you want to see.

Tap to the right of the menu to return to the calendar.

Key reminders

If you've added a job, estimate or event on the web version of Housecall Pro, remember:

  • Information about new jobs, estimates and events, refresh every minute in the app.

  • You will have to reload the chosen view screen in order to see any new jobs, estimates and events.
