Bluon + Housecall Pro

Housecall Pro has partnered with Bluon. This new integration helps HVAC pros scan units, find the right parts, and get instant AI-powered support, all from within Jobs & Estimates.

This feature is currently only available to Superpros in the Mechanical trades. There is no additional cost to use this feature during the beta phase, but pricing will change in the future.


What You Can Do

Scan HVAC Units Instantly

Use your phone to scan the nameplate on any HVAC unit. Bluon auto-identifies the unit and unlocks:

  • Unit age & warranty status

  • OEM manuals & wiring diagrams

  • Part specifications

  • Compatible replacement parts

Find the Right Parts

Quickly access original part numbers and replacement part options. Save time and avoid callbacks caused by incorrect part orders.

Master Mechanic AI (Beta)

Tap into Bluon’s AI assistant, trained on over 150,000 real-world tech support calls. Get troubleshooting guidance, install tips, and even generate professional customer facing or internal technical job summaries in seconds.

How to Access Bluon (Only on Mobile)

To access Bluon on the HCP mobile app:

  • Go to Jobs or Estimates.

  • Scroll down and tap on HVAC Tools by Bluon.

  • Choose to Scan Nameplate, Search Equipment, or use Master Mechanic


Support & Troubleshooting

Common Questions

  • “I can’t find the unit I scanned.”

    • Bluon is actively expanding its equipment database. If you get a “no results” message, the search is logged and sent to Bluon as a request to be added.

  • “My feature isn’t appearing.”

    • Make sure you’re a Super Pro and are logged into the correct account.

    • Contact support if you are a superpro and aren’t seeing the HVAC Tools by Bluon
