Navigating Housecall Pro: New Navigation Experience

We're making updates to Housecall Pro! This guide will help you get familiar with the updated layout and find what you need quickly.

Welcome to the New Housecall Pro Experience

Housecall Pro’s navigation has been redesigned, with the main menu moving from the top of the page to the left side of the screen. This updated layout brings your tools into one consistent place, making it easier to move throughout your account and quickly find and access the features you use most.

🚀 Coming Soon: This update is currently being rolled out and is not yet available on all accounts.


Key Navigation Changes

  • The main navigation menu has moved from the top of the page to the left side.

  • Actions like creating jobs, estimates, customers, and more are now available from the + Create button at the top of the left navigation menu.

  • Core features like Customers, Jobs, Estimates, Leads, Invoices, and Price book are now always visible.

  • The following features are now grouped into dropdown menus, providing the flexibility to choose where to go without being automatically redirected:

    • Communications (previously Inbox)

    • Money (previously My Money)

    • Marketing

    • Reporting

    • Team


Find Tools and Settings

  • My Apps is now listed directly in the navigation menu

  • Settings has moved to the bottom left of the screen

  • Your profile menu is also located in the bottom left

    • Click your name or profile icon to access:

      • My account

      • Billing

      • Refer a friend

      • Help center

      • Customer support number

      • Sign out


Use the Top Bar for Quick Actions

The top of the screen still includes tools for quick access:

  • Global search

  • Map view

  • Notifications

  • Tasks and Activity Feed (new)

  • QuickBooks sync alerts (if connected)


Customize Your View

  • You can collapse the left navigation menu to show icons only

  • Hover over icons to see labels

  • Expand the menu at any time for the full view
