The Community tab in your Housecall Pro app is a place where you can send and receive jobs and grow your network in your area. You want to make sure your profile is 100% set up and optimized so you can increase your likelihood of getting jobs! You wouldn't buy an item or book a service without seeing a picture of it, right? Same goes for referring a customer to another Pro. You would never refer a customer who trusts you to another service professional without knowing who they are and the quality of their work and vice versa!
How to access your community profile
On iOs: More → Community → Click on your picture or initials (if you have no picture) in the top right corner
On Android: Menu bar → My Community → Click on your picture or initials (if you have no picture) in the top right corner
How to set up your profile
Use the image below to make sure you complete #1 - 5 for your profile set up
- Cover Photo
Upload a cover photo that embodies what you're all about: your business and brand. Examples include: truck wrap, group picture of you and your employees, family photo, etc.
To upload your cover photo: Click the pencil in the bottom right of the cover photo spot → chose photo → select and position the photo
2. Profile Picture
Upload a professional photo of yourself. Remember, you are representing your company within your community!
To upload your profile picture: Go to your employee settings on your web portal (NOT the app). Click on the user icon in the top right corner of your dashboard to go to your Account Settings → Click Employees → Click on your name (or whoever the account representative is) → Click on the UPLOAD HEADSHOT box in the top left of the Edit Employee pop-up window. → Select, size and save your profile picture. It will now appear in your Community Profile.
Make sure you are listed under the correct industry(s) so other Pros can see the type of work you provide. You want to build a strong network of other Pros who specialize in different work than you do.
To check your industry: Go to your employee settings on your web portal (NOT the app). Click on the user icon in the top right corner of your dashboard to go to your Account Settings → Click Price List → Double check that you are listed in the correct industry.
If you need to change or add industries: Click ADD → Add Industry → Select and save your industry
4 & 5. Logo and Bio
Click into your company settings on the web portal (NOT app) → Click the edit pencil -→ upload your Logo and add your company bio (Ex/ Company's 'about' from your website, mission statement, specialties, history). Once you save, it will update your Community Profile.
