To change the number of an estimate you first need to navigate to the estimate's detail page. There are a few ways of doing this.

If you know the date the estimate is scheduled for, click the schedule icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of your app. (Calendar icon). You can then filter your calendar for the date of the estimate and select it there.

You can also pull the estimate up from the dashboard. Click the dashboard icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. (icon is six squares). Then scroll all the way down until you see Estimates. After clicking estimates at the top of the screen you'll have the option to switch between a list of Scheduled or Unscheduled estimates. Select the one that applies to your estimate, and click the estimate to get to the estimate details page.

From the estimate details page, tap the Estimate button at the top of your screen.
You will be brought to a preview screen, in the upper-right tap the settings icon depicted by a gear icon.

The estimate settings page will be brought up. From your list of settings, tap Estimate Number and input the number you want, then tap Save.

The estimate number will be updated, keep in mind if you try to use a number that is occupied by a previous estimate you will get an error message.
