The Public Holidays feature allows you to present information about the following US public holidays:

  • New Year's Day

  • Martin Luther King's Birthday

  • Washington's Birthday

  • Memorial Day

  • Juneteenth

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Columbus Day

  • Veterans' Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Day

Where can I see public holidays?

Information about public holidays is visually presented on all calendar views. There are two ways that public holidays are shown on a calendar:

  1. The name of the public holiday is shown at the top of the column

  2. The whole day is greyed out (as in outside of business hours case)

Who can see public holidays?

Each employee with access to the web/browser version of Housecall Pro can see information about public holidays.

Why can't I see the public holidays?

In order to show or hide public holidays information, you have to open the calendar (e.g. by clicking on a Schedule tab in the navigation bar), go to settings by clicking on the cogwheel, and switching the Display US holidays toggle on or off.

Please mind that the Public Holidays toggle is available separately for each user (as is each of the calendar settings).
