Whether you need to delete, cancel, or restore a job, Housecall Pro makes it an easy process to do so in the web portal.

  • Click on the gear & wrench icon in the upper right corner.

  • Select 'Delete job' from the drop-down.

  • Click 'Delete' to confirm.

Things to know

  • If you select 'Delete job', it will be completely removed from the customer's profile.

  • If you select 'Cancel', it will show as canceled in the customer's profile AND send a text and email notification to the customer.

  • If you accidentally delete a job or estimate and need to restore it, you can easily restore it by following the instructions in this article.

  • The number tied to the estimate or job in the system will keep that number. It can not be used for another job or estimate.

  • If you need to delete an invoice complete the steps above by deleting the job associated with that invoice unless you are using progress invoicing where you can void the invoice.

Delete Unscheduled Jobs

To delete an unscheduled job, follow the steps below.

  • Click on the Schedule tab located in your navigation bar.

  • Select the 'calendar with an x' icon at the top left of the page to locate unscheduled jobs.

    • The number in the red box is the total number of unscheduled jobs/estimates.

  • Locate and click on the unscheduled job which will take you to the job details page where you can delete the job.

Things to know

  • You cannot bulk delete your unscheduled jobs/estimates, you will need to delete one at a time.

  • If a job has been completed but never scheduled, you can remove it from the Unscheduled panel by clicking Finish. Be sure the 'notify customer' box is unchecked to avoid automated messaging to your customer.
