How to Update the HCP Mobile App
Keeping your Housecall Pro app up to date ensures you have the latest features, security updates, and bug fixes.
Apple Devices
If you're using an iPhone or iPad, follow these steps to update the Housecall Pro app:
Step 1: Open the App Store
Locate and tap the App Store icon on your home screen.
Step 2: Go to Your Account
In the App Store, tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Check for Updates
Scroll down to the Available Updates section.
If an update is available for the Housecall Pro app, you’ll see an Update button next to it.
Step 4: Update the Housecall Pro App
Tap Update next to the Housecall Pro app.
If prompted, enter your Apple ID password or use Face ID/Touch ID to confirm.
Step 5: Wait for the Update to Complete
The Housecall Pro app will begin updating.
Once finished, the Update button will change to Open—your app is now up to date!
Troubleshooting Tips
If you don’t see an update, try pulling down on the screen to refresh the list.
If the Update button is missing, the Housecall Pro app might already be up to date.
If you're unable to update, check your Wi-Fi connection or free up storage space.
Restart your iPhone if updates are not appearing.

Android Devices
If you're using an Android device, follow these steps to update the Housecall Pro app.
Step 1: Open the Google Play Store
Locate and tap the Google Play Store icon on your home screen or app drawer.
Step 2: Access Your Profile
In the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Step 3: Go to Manage Apps & Updates
Tap Manage Apps & Device from the drop-down menu.
Under Updates available, look for the Housecall Pro app.
Step 4: Update the Housecall Pro App
Tap the Update button next to the Housecall Pro app.
The download and installation process will begin automatically.
Step 5: Wait for the Update to Complete
Once the update is finished, the Update button will change to Open—your Housecall Pro app is now up to date!
Alternative Method: Update from the Housecall Pro App Page
Open the Google Play Store.
Tap the search bar and type Housecall Pro.
If an update is available, you’ll see an Update button. Tap it to update the app.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you don’t see an update, swipe down to refresh the updates list.
If the Update button is missing, your Housecall Pro app might already be up to date.
If the update won’t install, check your Wi-Fi connection and storage space.
