Send an Estimate (Web)
To send an estimate to a customer through the HCP web portal:
Open an estimate.
Click the Send button in the action bar at the top of the page.
This will direct you to the estimate preview, where you can review the estimate details and adjust the settings for that estimate.
When you're ready, click Send in the top right corner of the estimate preview page.
Select whether to send the estimate by Email or Text.
Click Send in the bottom right corner of the window to send the estimate to your customer.
🛠️ Pro Tip: When emailing an estimate, you can send it to multiple recipients by separating each address with a comma. You can also customize the subject line and message body before sending.
What happens next:
When the customer decides to Approve or Decline the estimate, you will receive the decision via email.
If the customer approves the estimate, its status will update to Customer Approved. If they decline it, the status will show as Customer Declined in your account.
Send an Estimate (Mobile)
To send an estimate to a customer through the HCP mobile app:
Open an estimate.
Tap the Estimate button in the action bar at the top of your screen.
This will direct you to the estimate preview, where you can review the estimate details and adjust the settings for that estimate.
Tap Next in the top right.
Select whether to send the estimate by Email or Text.
Tap Send in the top right.
What happens next:
When the customer decides to Approve or Decline the estimate, you will receive the decision via email.
If the customer approves the estimate, its status will update to Customer Approved. If they decline it, the status will show as Customer Declined in your account.
