Where to Start with CSR AI

CSR AI uses existing settings across Housecall Pro to make it easier to get started and maximize your conversion. Our enhanced CSR AI settings allow additional customization for how your calls are handled.

  • Set your CSR AI settings first, here, you can customize if CSR AI is booking jobs, and where calls escalate to if a human is requested. Additional customization is available here as well.

  • Call forwarding will depend on your carrier, check with them to identify any short codes or setting adjustments. HCP Voice can also be used further to streamline your call handling within the Housecall Pro ecosystem.

  • To get the number to forward to, please contact your CSR AI onboarding specialist or chat into the Blue Chat Bubble.

  • Set your booking settings to enable who can be booked, when you want bookings, and what services are bookable. You can even adjust to create unscheduled jobs/estimates vs booking as well.

    • These are shared with Online Booking, but you do not need to use Online Booking to use CSR AI, and vice versa.

  • Adjust your Pricebook Line items active for booking. Adjust duration, who to book, description, and price.

    • Use our Best Practices to adjust your description and service line item name to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction.

  • Enable and adjust your service area to only book customers within your area.

    • This setting can be toggled OFF in booking settings, so all callers are considered in the service area.

With these settings complete, CSR AI is fully prepared to handle your calls!
