Setting your service / travel radius to determine your visibility on the HouseCall consumer app.

What is a service area?

Your service area determines which customer locations can be serviced. This is where you can set the geographical area where you are willing to travel for jobs.  Your service area is now listed in zip codes.

The service area does not affect your existing customers.  


How do I set my service area?

You can set your service area by following these steps:

  • Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your navigation bar to access your Account Settings.

  • Click Service Area in the left sidebar navigation menu

  • Add zip codes within your operational area and press enter.

Your travel radius has now been set and can be changed at any time. Three important points to keep in mind:

  • Make sure your service area includes any areas you are willing to travel to for jobs.

  • You will need to set your business address before this feature becomes available.

  • Service area does not refer to your day-to-day operations.
