What is a Service Area?
Your service area determines which customer locations can be serviced. This is where you can set the geographical area where you are willing to travel for jobs. Currently, your service area can be configured using zip codes. Your newly designed service area settings offer a map view, with a 'click to add' feature, enabling an easy setup and a quick visualization of your area. These settings are considered when customers are trying to book service via job-booking products like Online Booking, CSR AI, and more.
Please note: The service area does not affect your existing customers.
How to Set Your Service Area
You can set your service area by following these steps:
Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your navigation bar to access your Account Settings.
Select 'Service Area' from the Settings menu on the left.
If you are a first-time user of service area settings, you will see a starter state screen with a prompt to "Set up service area."
If you already have a service area configured, you can make changes to it by clicking 'Edit' adding zip codes in one of two ways
By inputting zip codes in the text box and pressing Enter on your keyboard
By clicking on our interactive map
Three important points to keep in mind:
Make sure your service area includes any areas you are willing to travel to for jobs.
You will need to set your business address before this feature becomes available.
Service area does not refer to your day-to-day operations, it's rather used for by other job-booking products such as CSR AI, and Online booking.

🛠️ How to Set up Multiple Service Areas
🔒 This feature is available to all Pros with access to Online Booking or HCP Assist.
Go to your Service Area Settings
From your web dashboard, navigate to My Apps > Online Booking > Service Area
Click "+ Add Service Area"
Each service area can have its own name, zip codes or cities, and trip charges.
Choose how to define the area
You can select:
Cities (e.g. San Diego, CA)
Zip Codes (e.g. 92101, 92102)
You can mix and match within the same area.
(Optional) Add a trip charge
Add a fee to jobs booked within this service area, if applicable.
🔁 Can I still use just one service area?
Yes! If you’re happy with a single area, you don’t have to change anything. Your current setup will still work—this new feature simply gives you more control if you want it.
🤖 How it Works with Other Tools
These service areas are shared across:
✅ Online Booking (OLB)
✅ HCP Assist
✅ CSR AI
✅ Job booking from your web or mobile app
