When someone searches for a service like yours, your business is surfaced automatically, complete with your Google reviews, real-time availability, and pricing information, no ads or bidding required.
Customers can request a booking directly from the AI Mode in Google Search experience, and it lands straight in your Job inbox so you can respond and close the job fast.
How Google AI Works with Housecall Pro
When a local customer searches for a home service business using Google's AI-powered search, Google can surface your business directly in the results, along with:
Your Google reviews
Your real-time availability based on your calendar
Your service area and pricing information
Customers can request a booking right from the Google AI experience. That request is sent straight to your Job inbox, so you can respond and win the job before anyone else does.
For example, when someone searches “plumber available today,” Google AI shows nearby plumbing businesses with their Google rating, whether they're open, and Request a quote, Call, Directions, and Website buttons. Some businesses also show the times they're available today, like 8:00 AM or 10:30 AM, that customers can select to book.
Enable the Google AI Integration in Job Inbox
Unlike Google Local Services Ads (LSA) or Reserve with Google, Google AI doesn't require a sign-up, application, or account connection.
All Pros are opted into Google AI automatically, at no extra cost. Housecall Pro matches your trade, coverage area, and availability with local customers in the background, so you can stay focused on the job while new leads show up in your Job inbox.
Getting Google AI Leads
All new leads from Google AI will be automatically created as leads in your Housecall Pro account, and you'll be notified of each one by a message in your Job inbox.
To view your Google AI leads, go to Inbox > Chats > Job Inbox and select Google AI.
Click a lead to open its details. The pop-up shows the customer's name, phone number, job number, job status, a summary of the request, and the lead source, which will read Google AI. Click Go to job to open the job.
📌 Note: Leads from Reserve with Google and Google LSA will be in a separate Google Inbox.
Disable the Google AI Integration in Job Inbox
To disable the integration with Google AI:
Click the Settings icon in the lower-left corner of the left menu.
Select Job Inbox.
Toggle off Google AI. The toggle will turn blue when enabled and gray when disabled.
