How to Set Up Instapay
Setting up Instapay is a breeze! In just a few quick steps, you'll be able to get your account set up so you can start getting paid faster.
To set up Instapay:
Click the 'My Money' tab in your Housecall Pro navigation bar, then select 'Payout settings' from the menu on the left side of your screen.
The Payout Settings panel will then appear on the right side of your screen.
Click 'Add Debit Card' under "Instapay Payouts."
If you have Two-factor Authentication enabled in Housecall Pro, the Two-factor authentication window will appear on your screen, and a verification code will be sent to the phone number listed on your Employee Profile.
Enter the verification code in the text box, then click 'Continue' in the bottom right corner of the window.
Next, input your debit card information, then click 'Update Card' to save the card to your Housecall Pro account.
From here, you can choose to set up Instapay as your default payout method.
Set Instapay as Your Default Payout Method
After setting Instapay up in your Housecall Pro account, you can choose to have the standard 2-day deposits on by default, or you can choose to always deposit instantly with Instapay. This selection will apply to all card transactions and users in your company.
To select Instapay as your default payment method:
Click on the 'My Money' tab in your Housecall Pro navigation bar, then select 'Payout settings' from the menu on the left. This will pull up your payout Settings panel.
In the "Instapay payouts" section, click the 'Set as default payout' toggle to select Instapay as your default payment method.
All of your future card transactions will be paid out with Instapay. Moments after taking a card payment, you'll be able to see your Intstapay payouts in the "My payouts" section of the My Money page.
Please Note:
There are transaction limits with Instapay.
(Daily limit = $100,000; Transaction limit = $50,000 for Pros in the United States and $10,000 for Pros in Canada).
How to Disable Instapay
To disable Instapay and switch to Standard Payouts:
Click on the 'My Money' tab in your Housecall Pro navigation bar, then select 'Payout settings' from the menu on the left. This will pull up your payout Settings panel.
In the "Instapay payouts" section, click on the toggle next to the 'Set as default payout' option to disable it.
Card payments taken after disabling Instapay will be paid out with the Standard Payout method.
You'll see these transactions in the "Pending transactions" section of the My Money page until they are deposited into your bank account (minimum transit time of 2 business days).
