Connecting Your Business Profiles to Reviews
Connect your Google Business Profile and/or Facebook Business account to get reviews on Google or Facebook! By default, we will optimize your review requests for you. This means that we will send all of your customers with a Gmail email address straight to Google to leave their reviews (this is because customers need to have a Google account in order to leave a review on your Google Business Profile). The rest of your customers will be split equally between your Facebook page and reviews that you can collect for your website.

How to Connect Your Google Business Profile to Reviews
To connect your Google Business Profile to Reviews:
Click the Marketing tab in the top navigation bar of your Housecall Pro account.
Select Reviews from the left menu.
Navigate to the Google Reviews section and tap Connect.
If you don’t have your Reviews set up, learn more here.
A pop-up will open on your screen to connect your Google Business Profile to Housecall Pro. Follow the steps to get your account set up.
Once you’re connected, you will see your current average rating on Google in your Reviews Dashboard.
🛠️ Pro Tips:
If you need to change your Google Business Profile account at any time, click the Settings icon on your Reviews page.
To change your account: toggle Google OFF, then toggle back ON. You will then be taken through the process to connect your account again.
If you have more than one location on your Google Business Profile, you’ll need to choose one location to send your Reviews to.
You will only see your average Google Review if you currently have reviews in your Google Business Profile.
How to Connect Your Meta (Facebook) for Business Profile to Reviews
To connect your Meta (Facebook) for Business Profile to Reviews:
Click the Marketing tab in the top navigation bar of your Housecall Pro account.
Select Reviews from the left menu.
Navigate to the Facebook Reviews section and tap Connect.

A pop-up will open on your screen to connect your Meta for Business Profile (formerly called Facebook for Business Profile) to Housecall Pro. Follow the steps to get your account set up.
Make sure to give Housecall Pro full access to your Meta for Business Profile, or we will not be able to receive reviews.
Once you’re connected, you will see your current average rating on Facebook in your Reviews Dashboard.
🛠️ Pro Tips:
Allow Housecall Pro access to all Facebook Business Profile settings. If you don’t allow full access, Housecall Pro will not be able to fully integrate with Facebook.
Customers must be logged into their Facebook account in order to leave a Facebook review.
Connecting to your company's Facebook page can be a bit tricky. According to Facebook, everyone has to connect to a personal Facebook profile before connecting to a Facebook company page managed by that personal profile.
If you had connected Facebook to your reviews account prior to February 12, 2020, you will need to reauthorize your Facebook account in order to utilize any new Reviews features. If you don't reauthorize review requests for your Facebook page will still be sent as normal.
