What are my options for communicating with my customer from the mobile app?

Learn what the different messaging icons do from the customer profile on the mobile app

From the mobile app, clicking on the customer's profile will give you a few options for communicating with that customer. Let's break down what each of these options mean:

Send an SMS message via Housecall Pro

Clicking on this icon will allow you to message your customer without leaving the Housecall Pro app. This feature will be available to you so long as you have registered and selected your Custom Texting Number.

Send an email

Clicking on this icon will open your default email app on your mobile device where you can then type out and send an email to your customer. This message will come from your email address and is not sent through Housecall Pro.

Call or text using your cell network

Clicking either of these icons will allow you to call or text your customer directly from your mobile device. This is the same as calling or texting a family member or friend since they will see your mobile device's phone number.
