What is the lead board?

The leads board in Pipeline is a place for you to keep track of all of your incoming leads. Each card represents a lead, which can be copied to become an estimate or a job.

The Leads Board separates your leads into these columns:

  • New Lead - A new lead that has been created and can be either Unassigned or Assigned.

  • First Contact - Leads can be manually moved to this status to represent that you have reached or made contact with the lead once in an effort to get them to move forward with getting an estimate or job.

  • Second Contact - Leads can be manually moved to this status to represent that you have reached or made contact with the lead twice.

  • Third Contact - Leads can be manually moved to this status to represent that you have reached or made contact with the lead three times.

  • Won - Leads that have been copied to an estimate or job.

  • Lost - Leads that did not convert to an estimate or job.

Where to start?

A good first course of action is to start adding any existing leads you have from other sources and reaching out and updating the lead as you reach out.

1. Click the black NEW button in your navigation bar

2. Select 'Lead'

3. CUSTOMER: Type the customer name in the search bar and choose the correct profile and address from the drop down menu.

  • To change the customer, type in the customer name and select as you did before and it will automatically update.

  • You can add/edit/delete Lead Assignee, Private Notes, Lead Tags, or Lead Source by scrolling down on your new estimate screen.

4. SERVICE LINE ITEMS: Type the service line item directly into the space provided to search your set price list and select from the drop down.

  • You can continue typing to create a custom line item for specific invoice.

  • Click to edit the service line item, description, or price within the invoice (this will not change the item in your main price list).

5. Once you've confirmed all of the details look correct, click 'Save' on the new lead page and you will be brought to your Lead details screen.
