Why are you making this change?

We’re always listening and improving. This change will ensure you still get all the same features you love, paired with the industry knowledge & unmatched support that a dedicated team of Housecall Pro bookkeeping experts bring to the table for your business.

Will my historical data still be in my account?

Yes, we will transfer all of your historical data for you.

Will I still have access to the same financial dashboards?

Yes, you will still have access to the same financial dashboards as you have had previously including:

  • Financial dashboards at a glance

    • Profit & Loss

    • Cash flow

  • Financial reports:

    • Trial Balance

    • Balance Sheet
      Statement of Cash Flows

    • Profit & Loss

These will all be visible right in your Accounting tab in My Money in Housecall Pro.

Who will be my new bookkeeper?

You will have a new professional bookkeeper vetted by us at Housecall Pro to ensure you get the support you need!

Our incredible bookkeeping teams ensure that you always have a dedicated specialist who knows your business. Our detailed Quality Assurance process guarantees multiple sets of expert eyes on your books at all times!

You'll always be able to reach out to your dedicated team with any questions, support items, or to schedule a time to connect and review your account.

When will I meet my new bookkeeper?

The first step is setting up a launch call with our onboarding team. After we ensure your data is transferred over, you will be matched with your new bookkeeping team. They will send you a message in your Accounting tab in Housecall Pro.

Who will be handling my books during the transition?

You can continue to contact your Bench bookkeeper ahead of your transition call and we will coordinate closely with your new Housecall Pro bookkeeping team as they take over your books.

Do I still get catch-up services?

Yes you will still get catch-up services at the same price of $300/mo.

Do I still get monthly books and a year-end financial statement?

Yes you will still get monthly books and a year-end financial package to help you file your taxes quickly and easily!

Will I be able to get more help with taxes?

You can use your year-end financial package, which has everything you need to file taxes. We will not be able to file taxes for you at this time.

Will there be any difference in price?

No, this will be the same cost at $300/mo.

How long will it take to get my new account set up?

Your account transition will take 2-3 calls with our team to ensure proper setup.

Do I need to prepare anything before my launch call?

Your launch call will be focused on getting to know your new bookkeeping team, orienting around your business and bookkeeping needs, and setting up secure access to your accounts.

Please join your Zoom Launch Session from a computer, with the ability to login to your businesses' related financial accounts (banks, credit cards, payroll, loans, lines of credit, mortgages, and your prior set of books) so we can use the time as efficiently as possible to collect any necessary info!

Can I still communicate with my current bookkeeper before my launch call?

Yes, you can still contact your current bookkeeper ahead of your launch but if you’re having any trouble getting a response or need any help, feel free to message us through the blue chat bubble and we’ll make sure you get the answers you need!

Can I still access my current data (financial reports and monthly books) before my launch call?

Yes, you will continue to see your current data in HCP Accounting as usual leading up to your launch call. Once the HCP bookkeeping team begins work on your books, you will still have access to your Bench data directly by logging into Bench (https://bench.co/login) but you will lose visibility to that data from inside of HCP because we’ll start delivering your books there! So the Accounting tab under My Money will now show the work your HCP bookkeeper is performing!

Rest assured, your data from Bench will not be lost. You can access it indefinitely by logging into Bench directly. You will still see your data in HCPA until we complete your new onboarding, after which you can access it directly through Bench.

If you have any questions or concerns at all, don’t hesitate to reach out through the Housecall Pro blue chat bubble and they’ll make sure you get the answers you need!
