What is Housecall Pro Accounting?
Housecall Pro Accounting is an online bookkeeping tool integrated and synced with your Housecall Pro account. Using Accounting, you will get your books done for you, have unlimited access to an expert bookkeeper team, and track all money in and out with simple dashboards. Financial inputs from Housecall Pro (invoices, customer payments, expense cards, business financing, payroll, etc.) and other financial transactions will be captured automatically and managed by your online bookkeeping team.What does my bookkeeper do?
Your online bookkeeper reconciles your accounts, categorizes your transactions, and produces your monthly and annual financial statements. They also make adjustments to your books to ensure they’re tax-compliant. Occasionally your bookkeeper might need your input on things like feedback about a transaction or uploading a missing document, but we try our best to make bookkeeping as hands-off as possible for you. You can book a call with a member of your bookkeeping team (or send them an in-app message) whenever you’d like.I’m behind on my books. Can you get me caught up?
Yes! We are offering historical, so-called catch-up bookkeeping as one of the features. The cost is 300$ per month of historical bookkeeping. Please reach out to our SA team or chat into the blue chat bubble to ask about details.Can this completely replace my current accounting software?
Yes - Housecall Pro Accounting will be your new accounting software and your new bookkeeping team. When you sign up, we’ll take bookkeeping off your plate completely - which means you won’t need to use any other accounting software.How much does Housecall Pro Accounting cost?

QuickBooks gives you a tool to do your own bookkeeping. Our Accounting solution will do your bookkeeping for you and is integrated with your Housecall Pro account. You’ll get a team of real, expert bookkeepers in addition to a mobile-friendly platform to access your up-to-date financials.Does Accounting support both cash and accrual accounting?
a. This solution offers a modified form of cash-based bookkeeping. For example, your transactions will be recorded as soon as the money hits your bank or as soon as a charge hits your credit card. We also can manage some accrual adjustments regardless of when money is actually received/paid as needed.
